Charlottesville Horse Farms – Horse Barns
With the great variety of horse farms in Charlottesville, you would expect to find just as great a variety in horse barn styles. No matter how large, small, fancy or casual your stable may be, the most important aspect is that it is a design that works for you and your horses.
An older style of barn seen often in the racing industry is the Belmont barn, which has the stalls back to back in the center with a track/aisle around them all enclosed by an exterrior wall. In bad weather the horses could exercise in the barn. There are several Charlottesville equestrian properties which have one of these barns.
